Naptime Ramblings: Mom's Must Have Superpowers

Mom's Must Have SuperpowersMy kids are laying in their beds napping, well pretending to nap. I was going to take a little nap myself, but I hear them upstairs talking to each other. I know it's only a matter of time before they come downstairs tattling on each other or trying to barter with me so I let them out of naptime.Instead of getting things done in these few moments, my mind has been wondering. It always wanders to things to truly don't matter, but I can't help but spend way too much energy thinking it all the way through.Have you ever had one of those moments?Today, I've been thinking about superpowers. I blame my boys because it's all they've wanted to talk about since the new Thor came out.For today's naptime ramblings, let's chat about what superpower moms would LOVE!Mom's Must Have Superpowers

Eyes In The Back Of Her Head

The age-old myth is that moms have eyes in the back of their heads. While we do have an amazing intuition that kicks in when our kids are being naughty, think how nice it would be if we really did see it all!My little boys are constantly up to some type of mayhem! I would love to be able to catch them before they can make the mess or cut their hair while my back is turned (real story!)

Mary Poppin's Bag

Moms have to carry everyone's crap around constantly. There's the diapers, wet wipes, extra clothes, snacks, bottles, and then everything the rest of the family throws in!Can you hold this?At the end of it all, it can be hard to find room for your own stuff! None of this would matter if moms could transform their purses into a Mary Poppin's Bag!Think about it... A one-stop shop. If you're ever in need all you have to do is put your hand into your bag and pull out anything your mind can think of. As one of the most forgetful moms out there, I know I would love this!

Move Things With Her Mind

Just about every day I think to myself if I had just one more hand it would be perfect. Whether you're trying to grab everything out of the car at the same time or you're nursing on the couch and need to grab something... it would be much easier if we could have a little extra help.If I could move things with my mind my house would always be clean, my kids wouldn't get away with anything, and things would actually be perfect!

Magical Cleaning Abilities

Anyone with boys needs this one. I've mentioned before how messy boys can get, especially in the bathroom. My boys are always missing the toilet and it drives me crazy! Especially now that they're all potty trained! If it's not pee, it's toilet paper EVERYWHERE.I would love to just push a button or say something and watch my bathroom get cleaned before my very eyes. Admit it, you would kill for this one! What superpower would you choose?
