What's Liam Saying This Week?
If you've ever met Liam, you know he always says the craziest things. He's always been a huge talker and is surprising me with his wit! Here are just a few of the crazy things Liam has said this week.
"Mom, you're the meanest, but I love you."
This was after I told him he couldn't watch anymore Curious George. Apparently it's very mean.
"Mom, I had to hit Le-i because he hugged me."
I was in the living room doing laundry when Levi started crying and ran out to me. Liam quickly followed letting me know why he just "had" to hit him.
"One, two, three, nine, ten. Ok. Now, you're in time out for not listening to me mom."
I was paying a bill on the computer and he was asking me for something. I told him to chill and hold on for a second. Thanks Liam.
"Mommy, if you drive too fast, the car will break and you will be so sad."
A few weeks ago, I turned right and his drink fell in the car. Ever since, he is constantly backseat driving.
"Daddy, if you don't give me your candy I will be so sad and cry, cry, cry."
This was a few days ago and Liam was begging Joel for a cough drop... We should have just given it to him, but we have a bad track record with the whole "let them eat it and let them realize how bad it is on their own" concept. He usually ends up loving it to spite us...
"If you brush my teeth too fast, i'll get a tummy ache."
I told him if he eats dinner too fast he will get a tummy ache. I guess he thinks it's a universal fact.
"Hey, guess what! Chase caught a crabby! He was the tallest crab!"
He said this running into childcare at our church this week. He couldn't wait to tell his friends about the crab chase caught.
"I think Le-i's crying because he wants me to have his toy."
Yes, Liam that's why he's crying. It just has to be. He is completely distraught over the fact he wants you, not him, to play with his toy.
