My Little Family
My husband and IWithin those four years, we lived in four houses, bought our first home, adopted two dogs, moved to a different state, helped with a church plant, and had two gorgeous baby boys. We've learned so much and had a blast!Every family is completely different. I have been trying to figure out a way to introduce you to my little family and decided to let you know what makes my family, well, my little family.
1. My husband is Indian and I am a whitey.
My husband was born in Chicago, IL and then moved to India when he was about two years old to live with his grandparents. I on the other-hand was born in Battle Ground, WA and lived with my parents and little brothers.
2. My husband and I got married at 20 and 23.
Yes, we realized how crazy we were to get married and start a family so young, but we would do it again in a heart beat.
3. My baby boys are 18 months apart.
Now this was even crazier than #1. We had just started getting to the point where we were CONSIDERING the idea of another baby, then found out we were already pregnant. It was a whirlwind of a pregnancy. If you'd like to hear more about it, go to my husband's blog and read our son, Levi's story. As you can see below, he is adorable and I can't imagine my life without either of these little guys.
4. My oldest son LOVES food.
Sure, you must think all toddlers love food. Liam is a whole different story. The first thing he says when we go somewhere is, "Mama, I want bites." People probably think I starve him because he always acts starved.
5. My husband laughs like a hyena.
If you have ever watched a movie with my husband or see him really worked up, you have heard it. All of his cousins, family members, and friends have as well. It's loud and hilarious.
6. When my husband and I fight, it always ends in laughter.
Now you may be thinking, how sweet. They're so in love that they don't even fight. Yeah, right. I love my husband so much that I let him know when he's being a punk. I get mad and start "nicely scolding him" or yelling, whatever you want to call it and do you know what he does? He starts laughing. It makes me so mad! I start yelling more, "What, you think this is funny?" Then he erupts into laughter even louder! Then I get so mad, all I can do is laugh. Those are just a few little things about my family. We are young and learning as we go.
